RACE1 is proud to introduce the 'SCUD'. This boat is ideal for recreational use and beginners. This tough versatile boat has greater stability for novice rowers but has the same feel and set up as a racing scull so is great fun and can be rowed in all conditions. It uses similar strong, light weight materials as other RACE1 boats so at only 18kg without the riggers, it is easy to lift on and off your car.

“I have rowed many of the top fours from boat builders around the world, and regard the Race1 Four up there amongst them all. Allan has built several boats for our Club to our exact specifications and we are extremely happy with the performance we are getting. Race 1 boats are excellent value for money. Al is always happy to provide personalised service, and I know if I need something I can just pick up the phone and talk to him.”

“Choosing Race1 gives me confidence to get on with my job - putting the right people in the boat, training them, and getting the results on the water.
Being located outside a major capital, we find it vital to choose a boat brand that can offer us the best in service. We choose Race1, and have done for years.
In fact, we have over 40 boats, and they’re all Race1. Their boats are excellent value for our situation, and the team is on hand and easy to deal with for any repairs and maintenance. These factors are of prime importance to the Kinross Wolaroi Rowing Club.”
